## NMEA 2000 Technical Specifications
- **Load Equivalency Number (LEN):** 1 LEN = 50mA current draw. Maximum micro backbone capacity is 4.0 Amps (80 LEN).
- **Termination Resistance:** Network must have exactly two 120-ohm resistors (one at each physical end) resulting in 60-ohm loop resistance.
- **Cable Thickness:** Micro cables (4A limit, max 328ft), Mid cables (8A limit, max 328ft), Mini cables (8A limit, max 656ft).
- **Drop Cable Limits:** Individual drop cables must not exceed 20ft (6m); cumulative drop length must not exceed 250ft (78m).
